How to
For a perfect gel polish removal:
Step-by-Step Instructions for Gel Nail Removal
- File the Surface: Use a nail file to gently file the surface of your gel manicure. This helps to break the topcoat and allows the remover to penetrate more effectively.
- Prepare the Gel Remover Pad: Tear open the gel polish remover pad packet and insert your finger, ensuring that the cotton pad inside covers your nail. The acetone from the cotton pad will begin to soak into the gel polish.
- Secure the Wrap: Wrap the packet around your finger, removing the sticker on the packet to make it airtight. To prevent any air from entering, place our remover clips over the remover pads. This will ensure a snug fit and improve the effectiveness of the gel removal process. Wait for 15 minutes.
- Check the Gel Polish: After 15 minutes, remove the packet. The gel polish should have a shattered effect, indicating that it is ready to be removed.
- Remove the Gel Polish: Use the Gel Remover Tool to gently glide off the remaining polish. Be careful not to scrape too hard to avoid damaging your natural nails.
- Aftercare: Wash your hands thoroughly to remove any remaining acetone. Finish by applying hand cream and cuticle oil to moisturize and nourish your hands and nails. Voilà! Your nails are now free from gel polish.

- Hydrate Nails: Use nail strengtheners or treatments if your nails are feeling weak or brittle after gel polish removal.

Yes, you can remove gel polish immediately if necessary. However, it's important to follow proper removal techniques to avoid damaging your natural nails. Use our gel polish remover pads and allow the nails to soak for the recommended time (about 15 minutes) to ensure the gel polish loosens adequately. Avoid scraping or forcibly peeling off the gel polish, as this can harm your nails.
Gel nail polish is not as easy to remove as regular nail polish because it requires a specific process to break down the formula. However, with the right tools and techniques, it can be done effectively and safely. Use our gel polish remover pads to soak the nails, then gently push off the softened, shattered polish. Follow the proper steps and you can get a smooth, damage-free removal at home.
Acetone-based removers are stronger than non-acetone removers, making them more effective at removing gel nail polish at home. Our Gel Polish Remover Pads/kit are pre-soaked with acetone and individually wrapped for convenient removal of gel nail polish at home or on the go.
You'll know the gel nail polish is ready to be removed when the polish begins to show a shattered or lifted appearance on the nail. This typically occurs after about 10-15 minutes of allowing the acetone in the Gel Polish Remover pads to work.
Nope! When done properly, removing gel nail polish should not damage your natural nails. It's important to follow correct removal procedures, such as using acetone-based removers like our Gel Polish Remover wraps, and avoiding excessive scraping or peeling. Moisturizing your nails and cuticles afterward will help maintain their health and get you ready for your next gel manicure.
No. It is not recommended not to reuse gel polish remover pads. These products are designed for single-use application to ensure the effective removal of gel polish. Reusing them may compromise their ability to effectively dissolve and remove the gel polish from your nails. For best results and to avoid potential damage to your nails, use a fresh remover wrap or pad for each nail removal session.
If you experience irritation or discomfort during gel polish removal, it's important to stop the removal process immediately. Rinse your hands with lukewarm water to remove any remaining remover solution or gel polish. Apply a soothing moisturizer or cuticle oil to hydrate your nails and surrounding skin. If the irritation persists or worsens, consult a dermatologist or healthcare professional for further advice and treatment options.
It depends on individual preferences and the condition of your nails. Gel polish can last up to two to three weeks, however, some factors such as nail growth, chipping, or personal preference for a fresh look may influence how often you choose to redo your gel manicure. It's important to prioritize nail health by ensuring proper removal and give your nails a break between applications to prevent potential damage.
